Replacing the UV (Ultraviolet) Light Filter

Replacement of the UV Light Filter 

Replacement of the UV light filter is straight forward, and replacement filters can be ordered directly from our website here: https://www.explorechillax.com/maintenance-parts. Note that if the UV light indicator is ON, the filter does NOT need to be replaced. If the UV light indicator is OFF, that indicates the filter might need to be replaced.

Step 1: Remove the metal cover for the UV and RO filter on the side of the unit.

Step 2: Lightly grab the UV light bottle and pull towards you. This will release the light bottle from the clip securing it in the unit. 

Step 3: Once released, pull the black cap of the UV light cup upward and out of the cup. Replace the old light with the new UV light and place back into the black cap.

Step 4: Place the light bottle back into the clip on the unit and push back into the unit and place the metal cover back onto the unit.
